About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Aeronautical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about designing next-generation aircraft systems and components that meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

As an Aeronautical Design Engineer, you will be involved in the end-to-end development of aircraft design—from conceptualization and 3D modeling to simulation, testing, and certification. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts working on state-of-the-art aerospace projects in both commercial and defense sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the design of airframe structures, propulsion systems, flight control surfaces, and associated subsystems.
  • Develop 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
  • Perform detailed structural, aerodynamic, and thermal analyses to validate design integrity.
  • Ensure designs comply with all applicable aerospace standards and regulatory guidelines, including FAA and DoD specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and Supply Chain, throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support prototype development, integration, and testing, including wind tunnel and flight tests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of engineering activities, including design reports, test data, and change requests.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in aircraft or aerospace component design.
  • Proficiency in advanced CAD modeling, GD&T, and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN).
  • In-depth knowledge of materials used in aerospace applications, including composites and lightweight alloys.
  • Familiarity with certification processes (e.g., FAA Part 23/25, MIL-STD).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in UAV, rotorcraft, or advanced air mobility platforms.
  • Experience with systems integration, avionics, or propulsion design.
  • Hands-on involvement in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles.
